Capella

Keystone sat near a ledge overlooking Carrion Canyon. His dove flitted about around him. He gazed at the horizon and sighed, tired.
"Keystone?" called a voice calmly from behind him. He let out a yelp of surprise, dropping the olive branch he held in his mouth. He turned around him and saw a Banescale approaching him.
"O-oh, Capella. What is it?"
"I've, I've been thinking for a long time about something. I feel like I'm not using all of my potential here but it doesn't feel like there's enough for me to do. I was debating leaving and finding a new clan to join but I'm not sure if that's a good idea."
Keystone paused. This is coming out of nowhere. On top of that, why is she coming to me to talk about this? He thought for a few moments. "Capella," he began with a reassuring tone, "I believe that you hold a lot of potential. You're kind and caring, and I think being viewed that way is in short supply for Banescale. However, you're incredibly strong, and you're freely and openly willing to defend anyone you see fit to do so. Your fury is fitting for both your breed and your element, yet you still exercise control over yourself and who or what you direct your fury at. Even if you're angry, you don't resort to lashing out physically, and that amazes me," Keystone finished with a warm smile. He looked to Capella and saw her returning his smile. She looked incredibly relieved. The Banescale embraced Keystone in her wings, surprising him greatly. She pulled her wings off of him and looked at him hopefully.
"Thank you, Keystone," Capella said, "I promise you I will never forget you. In fact, I hope we might meet again."
With that, Capella turned toward the canyon, and propelled herself into the sky. Keystone watched her all the way until she disappeared on the northwest horizon.

Aeroma flew about over the coast of the Starwood Strand, scanning the ground for any prey he could find. He quickly spotted it, and soon dived down at an incredible speed. As he descended, however, he found himself knocked out of his flight path by a massive creature. He felt himself careening down before he impacted into a tree and briefly blacked out. A moment later, he came to, and saw a massive Golden Roc bearing down on him. He panicked and scrambled to get away, but winced as he felt his entire right side scream in pain. The Roc had almost reached him when a screech was heard. The Roc looked to find a white and gold Banescale flying directly at it. Before it could react, however, the Banescale had already clawed through its wing. The Roc began falling from the sky, but the Banescale didn't stop there. It followed down and closed its talons over the Roc's chest. The massive avian screeched in pain before falling silent. The Banescale then hovered, watching the Roc impact the ground. The Banescale turned to Aeroma, concern crossing her face. She made her way down and landed in front of him.
"Are you okay?" She asked, her face showing no signs of malicious intent.
Aeroma got himself off his back. "I think I'll be fine," he said.
"Will you be able to make it back to your clan?"
"Yeah, I should be able to fly through this. I was more shocked than anything else. Would you care to come with me?" He offered.
"Wh- really? I've been searching for a clan for quite a while now, you're really offering this to me?" The Banescale replied, surprised.
"Of course!" Aeroma replied, "My clan is very kind to new members, I'm sure you'll love it with us. By the way, what's your name?"
"My name is Capella. And, before I go back with you, I want to stay out here a while, there's something I want to look for, I'm curious if I can find it around here."
"Sure thing! And my name is Aeroma, nice to meet you."

A few hours later, Aeroma came into the lair, proudly exclaiming "We have a new addition!"
Several heads perked up, looked towards the entrance, and saw a white and gold Banescale entering the lair, carrying an olive branch in her mouth. Capella is a kind and caring dragon. She left her previous clan with great reassurance from a dragon called Keystone that she would be able to grow as a dragon in a new clan. Most of the clan is quite surprised to see her gentleness, many of them used to the fierce behavior of most Banescale.

This isn't to say that Capella isn't capable of fury, she is actually an incredibly strong dragon, able to take down massive creatures entirely on her own, although she seems to loathe solitude and deeply enjoys the company of her clanmates.
