16/19
A monstrous dragon skull emerges from the festering land. Its cavernous jaws, lined with sharp fangs, open the way into the underground lair of the Buried Wyrm clan. Guards patrol the area as a first line of defence against intrusions. The second and last line of defence is to close the Maw shut, barring all ways in and out. No-one is sure whether the skull belonged to a real creature as its size defies the imagination.
The Claws
11/19
East of the lair entrance, a pair of gigantic claws breaks through the red sand. Large pieces of flowing cloth are draped over the bones, providing shade and protection for this small community that often travels far from the clan. Most of them strive under the sweltering heat, as they prowl the Abiding Boneyard for food and riches. Shards of crystals and sand glass dangle from the Claws, tinkling softly with the wind.

From the entrance, a series of twisting corridors leads down to a subterranean swamp. Fireflies, glowing mushrooms, and strange plants softly illuminate the area, helping to navigate this tricky area, full of wild and tangly vegetation. Bubbles pop in the deepest and warmest ponds, frogs croak everywhere, and water drops fall from the stalactites, everything echoing into a strange harmony. Do not step into that puddle!
The Nerves
9/21
Deeper into the lair, a cacophony of banging, clanging, and zapping sounds leads you to the research labs. A small group of scientists from the Shifting Expanse have established a permanent base to study the curious material that the corridor walls are made out of (it seems to be able to conduct information almost immediately from one place to another). They also brought along some of their more personal experiments.

The Ribs
8/26
Above the Crystalspine Bay beaches, the cliffs are pockmarked with caves, which are covered by giant ribs jutting from the rock. The influence of the Arcane domain is strong here, which manifests via the crystallisation of some of the lair bones, turning them into pink chalcedony, and via an extraordinary view of the stars at night. Hidden passages, revealed by humming specific melodies, link these caves to the rest of the lair.

From the gargantuan shoulder blades (embedded in the ground), two tattered wings spread above the cliff. At their base, a few brick buildings, a forge and several extensions, huddle together, smoke always rising from their regiment of chimneys. Attached high to the wing membranes, balloons and kites lazily float in the wind. Dragons and beastclan members come and go here, as this place serves as the lair airport.
The Spine
14/25
Scattered around jutting vertebrae, little plots of arable land stretch along the Spine for a few miles. Agriculture is possible, but not easy in the Wasteland. Still, several Nature (or stubborn) dragons manage to grow food. Most of it is strange, affected by the local magic: pumpkins can bite, and hot peppers have a literal kick. Luckily, dragons need more magic than food to survive, which the land provides in abundance.

Down the end of the lair, a small port is nestled between the cliff and the sea. Several shops have been built here, providing food and services to the increasing number of dragons passing through the bay (you've been recommended the Wyrm's Tail tavern). The beach sand is a soft pastel colour, and warped seagulls cry out above the piers while snatching food from unsuspecting passersby. Hey, you don't need that fry, do you?
