As you travel from cavern to cavern, you come to the second-last entrance before the stone begins to shift into the base of the towers of the Dusk Sanctum. Unlike the others, this cave is decorated with an overwhelming splatter of multi-colored lanterns, banners, wind-chimes, and other such baubles. Making your way inside, the colors only intensify; not a single space among the walls is left untouched. It is cluttered and cramped within this cave, and the smell of herbs and alchemy materials hangs heavily in the air. Your eyes begin to water slightly at the assault on your senses.
Before you can turn away and escape this clastrophobic horror show, a loud crash of pots and pans echoes from the far end of the room. From the back you can see a dragon stumbling out from behind one of the many curtains lining the walls, and you are appalled to see that even more stuff is hidden away in the deeper chambers of the cave. The Obleisk does her best to right herself without making the mess worse, but somehow manages to make even more of a racket as she steps across the pile of metal, all while frantically shouting "Just a moment! One second! I'll be right there!!" You wince with each heavy step she takes, as she continues to knock over several of the unstable piles of junk laying about. "I'm terribly sorry! I swear, it's not usually like this-" She cuts herself off by tripping over her own robes, landing with a firm "THUD" at your feet. She once again stands up straight, tugging on her clothing to attempt to regain some sense of professionalism. "Welcome, welcome! My name is Jasnah, and I am the poison specialist around these parts! Looking to tame some pesky weeds? Have a pest problem in your den? I'm your gal!" |
