dragon?age=1&body=108&bodygene=90&breed=20&element=11&eyetype=1&gender=1&tert=2&tertgene=94&winggene=108&wings=23&auth=69135e79c5a557f6983da577ae8a32341f186bbb&dummyext=prev.png 		Ranulf's egg fell off the Magmablood Rebuke during a battle or something, and then was carried to the Southern Icefield like the main character's egg in Disney's Dinosaur (2000). It hatched into a feral little hellion who was promptly captured and put in containment by the Icewarden's forces. Ranulf honed his escape artist skills over time, reveling in the revolving door of escaping and being re-captured. Eventually one of his prison guards got tired of the whole song and dance, and smuggled Ranulf off the Icefield and quickly offloaded him onto the first traders they could find. Ranulf promptly escaped from his new keepers, too, and has been scrungling across Sornieth ever since.

Behaves like a wild dog or fox, definitely does the hopping thing that foxes and coyotes do when they're hunting for burrowing prey, but Ranulf does it for fun too. His heads also nip at each other and his mane.
