Wildstorm

Ever since Wildstorm had arrived in Bellaria he had felt pulled to Starfell Tower. Even as a child playing in the streets, it always seemed to be in his peripheral vision, or when they would play hide and seek. He could never play the seeker, because they would always find him an hour later staring at the tower.
Starfell had never frightened him, it felt safe or right being there. He never could understand why it was always there, or why he kept having Elm tell him her story about it. But when he got older he knew. He developed his magic, and his magic was of the stars.
Starfell tower, not only did it historically involve stars, but it was also the best place in town to view them. Add the ease of spell casting since the area is so magically charged, and well, it kind of became Wildstorm’s hang out, or the roof of it did at least. One could always find Wildstorm there, studying the stars, arranging them into different constellations. When he got good he even got to put on a show for the Queen’s birthday, but even with all of his accomplishments he felt like there was still so much more to know. So much that books and the people around him couldn’t tell him.
Wildstorm came up with a plan, more like a dream. He wants to go into space. To see the stars up close and find out all he can about everything. It is a quest for knowledge, even with so much stacked against him he does everything he can to put this plan into action, starting with his dearest friend. “Elm!” his voice echoed a bit as he hurried down the hall of the castle. Elm was a direct employee of the Queen and that came with its perks. “Elm!” He called again, before stopping and knocking on her door. The Obelisk was out of breath, especially with three bags full of papers and books loaded up on his back. “El-!” He started after a breath, but it was cut short as the Nocturne’s door swung open.
“Hello Wildstorm, Sorry I was trying to sleep like a normal dragon.” She was a bit sassy after being woken up in the middle of the night. “Sorry, I just, I just had the most amazing idea.” He dropped his bags and pulled out a hefty blue book. “Here!” he exclaimed as he opened it to a marked page. “Space?” “Space!!” he grinned “I need to visit space, at least once! I know you probably think this is crazy, but here me out! I just.” He let out a soft sigh. “I feel like I can’t have a full mastery of the stars here. I just need to go into space, there I can study them up close. I can move them and see what they are all about, I know it’s a long shot, but I think I can make it work. Will you help me?”
The Nocturne blinked a couple of times “Space you’re serious?” she murmured, tapping her chin in thought. “You’re right, it is a long shot, but we might be able to make it work. Who knows, I may even convince the Queen to help you. If she backs you then you’ll have all of the resources in Sornieth at your claw tips.” She smiled. “Then it’s settled, we’ll inform the Queen of my idea in the morning.”
