He used to just be an aspiring author and an avid horror fanboy. Ever since an encounter with an unknown evil (possibly The Shade?) in his adolescence, Jason exists in a constant state of dissociation, driving him to a rising hunger for stimulation. Most of the time this manifests in reading and writing, but he often turns to terrorizing others to varying degrees. Sometimes it's gentle bullying, but sometimes it's intimidation or genuine violence. He's far from above cruelty, but is often held back by outright laziness. His lack of ambition keeps him from being too much of a threat to the world around him....not that it stops him from being very unsettling to be around.

He has a passion for theatrics, and will comply to nonsensical rules in his everyday life for the sake of crafting a good atmosphere or story. He will live and die by The Bit. Even in combat, he insists on the impracticality of a kitchen knife, despite being *extremely* dangerous if were to ever take things seriously and just use his claws and teeth and magic.

Once something catches his attention, he fixates on it heavily until he gets bored. Sometimes it takes an afternoon, but sometimes it takes several years.

He specializes in creating hallucinations with his Shadow magic, and to make a long story short he’s just a giant, shameless edgelord. Cringe culture is dead and he killed it. The man has a pet wolf he named Smile, do you think he cares what you think abt cringe?
