No dragon knows how Divine died. It is common knowledge that angels are made from the souls of dragons who have died once before, and as an angel in the Lightweaver’s service, Divine had to have experienced mortality. Though Divine is touched by a god, he is not almighty. But he never speaks of it. When pressed, he completely closes off and refuses to answer any questions. Most dragons learn quickly to leave that part of his past alone. Divine spends his time among the dragons in Sornieth, instead of at the Lightweaver’s side, advocating peace and parley. He can often be found working as mediator between warring dragon clans. His belief is strong and undaunted, both in his god and his people. Divine walks the earth believing that dragons fighting dragons is wrong; they are all children of the deities, and therefore sacred. The real enemy, the one all dragons should stand together against, is the shade - the true threat to both dragonkind and all that is golden and light in the world. I must change their minds. I must inspire peace! If I cannot… if I cannot bring about peace, then what good am I? What good have I done my transcendence? | ______________ |
