Confession time; When I first picked up Stardew Valley I didn't like Harvey. Granted I was like seventeen at the time. He's an older dude so naturally, I was creeped out at the mere idea of dating anyone who was between 30-40 years old. I mean, fair right? Harvey wasn't even on my radar when I was learning how to play the game and then...

OH, HOW WRONG I WAS TO JUDGE HARVEY LIKE THAT!

I revisited the game when I was in college (recently graduated btw) and omg his character caught me by surprise. Turns out he's not a creepy old dude doctor, he's just a kind and gentle nerd who's a tad socially awkward and maybe even on the spectrum. I mean, with his interests being so specific; jazz, plans, coffee. He has severe social anxiety and hates crowds, wearing a speedo to the beach unphased, he's definitely autistic codded. (Or I could be projecting...)

So much fic potential with this guy! Harvey's a goldmine and deserves more respect within the fandom. 10/10 would date again.
