 "Quote" In the fields of gold, Pyrite takes flight Copper flecks shimmering in the sun's light A scout for the Lantern Bearers, he's quick and light Surveying the land, always seeking what's right His sharp eyes searching, no detail out of sight Alert for any danger, day or night Through the forest he ventures, quiet as a mouse Sneaking past creatures, in his scouting house Copper flecks glittering, on his scales so douse The shadows around him, as he tries to rouse From his perch he scans, the forest so douse Ensuring his clan, is protected in their house The mountains await, with its rocky terrain With each step he takes, he feels no pain His copper flecks reflecting, the sun again He sees through the fog, nothing can remain Stealthily he roams, his vigilance not in vain His sharp senses leading, through the mountain chain The marshes are next, where the mist does rise Pyrite navigates with ease, through the murky skies Copper flecks shining bright, as he surveys and spies Through the dangerous swamp, he never lies In his scouting quest, he constantly tries To ensure the clan is safe, before the sun will rise Pyrite, the scout, protector of his kin With copper flecks glimmering, on his obsidian skin He searches high and low, no matter where he's been Loyal to the Lantern Bearers, until the end His service is invaluable, and never seen as thin A guardian, a guide, a friend to those within. |
