probably a little fairchild-y in demeanour but also camp . i want them to be camp
one of the "leaders" of the vast's efforts after its latest reset
turned to patterns of thinking and idealization of the pre-reset times as a coping mechanism after being traumatized by the lonely; probably surrounds themselves with others as a result, so either a cult, devoted fish parent, or both
probably focused more on scale than emptiness since they're more anti-Lonely; i'm thinking somewhere in the ballpark of the Great Beast or Deepdive Barotrauma mcHanderson
by that logic i could bring back the frickn regent
maybe some sort of diver?

i actually had the idea that if they stay as an obe it was something affecting their stoneshape
which i guess is this "refuge" state for obelisks that was . corrupted somehow, meaning abasis had to do a lot of something else to keep the terrors at bay

yeah kinda the same thing! abasis did the stoneshape thing to protect themselves 'cause they were scared already, and they were lonely, and it only drove a wedge between them and thier clanmates as they kept moving while abasis couldn't
was it just the occupational hazards of [checks notes] being born as fodder for an eldritch terror or something else though... i'm gonna say the former to not stretch this any further than it needs to be
