It's a bright, sunny day today, perfect beach weather! As your dragons enjoy the weather, an excitable Spiral dragon comes flying up and deposits a package of fresh-caught seafood in front of your lair.

"Hey there!" he warbles excitedly. "Did you know that Wind, Water, and Earth Flights are holding a dominance battle this week? The theme is a beach party, and there are games galore, even for non-participating Flights! In addition, each Flight will have a public buy thread! We hope that if you have dragons to sell, you'd like to sell to Wind, because of course we are the Flight that parties the hardest!! And to prove it here's some delicious party favors!" The Spiral nudges the package toward you. "Whatever flight you choose to sell to, don't forget to have tons of fun and enjoy yourself this week!"

As the Spiral flies away shouting "PARTY PARTY PARTY!" your dragons open the package and discover some seafood supplies, as well as directions to the event hub for this week's festivities and Wind's public buy thread, and the dom watch thread!

Mistral Jamboree giftbombing message:

Your dragons are surprised by a small commotion and a thump outside their lair. A Spiral dragon has tossed a package onto their doorstep, and is now excitedly flying around in tight loops.

He pulls out a small scroll, clears his throat, and attempts to be serious as he reads it.

"On behalf of Wind Flight and the Windsinger, we cordially invite you..." is all he gets out before he rolls his eyes and tosses the scroll aside. "Listen, we're havin' a PARTY! Here's some feathers! Make a kite! Come to our party!"

As the spiral zigzags away shouting "PARTY PARTY PARTY!" your dragons open the package and discover some beautiful feathers, materials to build a kite, and a note inviting you to get into the spirit of Mistral Jamboree by creating your own party favor. There's even a small pouch of money in case your crafting ambitions require more materials!

Cloudsong Celebration
It's a glorious day in the Windswept Plateau. The sun is shining, the birds are singing, and, of course, the wind is blowing. Just perfect for a party... and everyone is invited!

The Cloudsong has always been considered a great place for a party, but today it is looking even more impressive than usual. Some of the clans who reside in the giant construct have been working day and night on preparations for the Jamboree, and it shows. Fresh paint gleams, polished wood shines, ribbons have been tied on every railing. A steady stream of dragons is heading towards the massive kite. Some are flying on their own, some ride in balloons piloted by Wind dragons, but all are eager to arrive and start enjoying themselves.

Even before visitors get to the Cloudsong, their entertainment begins. Squadrons of spirals fly past, performing feats of aerial acrobatics with breathtaking skill and synchronicity. Skydancers clad in silks and finery dart gracefully through the air. You even spot one playing a lute in midair, an impressive display of coordination. A snapper stationed on the landing platform is beating a drum and using Wind magic to make her voice carry on the breeze, singing a song of greeting to arriving guests.

Inside the revelry is well under way. Wind dragons are entertainers at heart, and scattered all through the wide open space are musicians strumming instruments, dancers whirling to the music, poets reciting epic compositions. All manner of dragons are flying overhead, performing tricks. They share space with enchanted kites that swoop and soar in formation. There is a face painting station for hatchlings in one corner. A spiral has a crowd in stitches as he demonstrates knot-tying, using himself as the knot. And everywhere dragons are hurrying around offering food, trinkets, and party favors to guests, because what is a party without food and presents? Try the toasted grasshoppers, they're simply divine!

To enter, simply post a comment in an RP format about your dragons enjoying themselves and I will give you random stuff! It can be two sentences or ten huge paragraphs, you'll still get something nice. Although if you're feeling competitive, there's an RP contest too! Go check it out!
