"Are you ready to go?" I asked. Feros and Tai had been preparing for a while, and it seemed like they were ready now. The Red Wildclaw was climbing up my tail. He laid on my back and fell asleep. It felt weird, I had never interacted with Fandragons until now.

"We're ready," Feros sighed, "Where do we start?"

Akimitsu, a young red Skydancer, flew up and landed on Feros' snout. Xueshan was already comfortable inside his mane. Akimitsu climbed onto one of Feros' horns and wrapped her tail around it. Hades did the same, but on Feros' other horn.

---THREE DAYS LATER---

The Red Wildclaw rode on my left horn while we travelled. We didn't really know where we were going, we were just wandering, hoping to find the Green Wildclaw. Feros stayed by my side the whole time. Tai would often run or fly ahead, then fly back and tell us what he saw.

We made camp in a clearing one night. Feros was writing a letter to his mother again. There really wasn't a point, he never got a response, no matter how many letters he sent.

"You need to rest, Feros," I sighed, gently nudging him with my wing. I could feel the Red Wildclaw climbing up my neck and onto my head.

"I know," Feros said sadly, "I just... want a response. Just one."

I sighed again. Both of us knew that it was pointless. Finally, after finishing his letter, he handed it to Tai's familiar, a Warped Gryphon. His familiar then flew off to deliver the letter. Feros went to sleep after that.

The following morning, we continued wandering. Then, out of nowhere, we heard an ear-splitting roar. Tai had flown away again, so we sped up, hoping that he wasn't in trouble. When we got to him, we saw an Obelisk flying away, and Tai was lying on the ground, completely still and in a pool of blood. Feros rushed over to him. I could hear him whispering to Tai, but chose not to get involved. I felt like I shouldn't, but ended up walking over to Feros and putting my wing around him. Tai was still alive, just badly hurt. Parts of his back legs were torn open, and one of the wounds was blue around the edge.

"Find somewhere we can take him," Feros ordered, turning to me.

I took off, flying around to see where we could bring Tai. I found my way into a desert, and there, I found a pyramid. I landed and looked around, then flew back. Feros and I had to carry Tai there, and it was a long and exhausting journey. When we made it to the pyramid, we all went inside to rest. Akimitsu was sleeping on Feros' back. Hades fell asleep next to her shortly after. Xueshan had energy- he flew around the place, examining everything.

"Hey!" He exclaimed, "Someone built a shrine here!"

I went to go see what he was talking about, and like he said, there was a shrine. It seemed to have been built out of marble or quartz, encrusted with gold and aquamarine.

"It's nice," I said with a smile. After admiring it a bit more, I turned and went back to help Feros with Tai. But out of the corner of my eye, I saw a shadow. And it was watching.
