"I want you to do something for me. Remember me forever."
It's not that he does not have a name, simply that no one is alive who knows it. Born into a plague clan, he was separated from them as a young hatchling, too young to remember their names. Found by a Longneck clan in the Southern Icefield, he soon began to live with them. Over time, though, the winters became harsher and harsher, the young plague dragon having to dress up warmly to weather them. The weather eventually became too harsh for even the longnecks and the clan decided to leave. The healthier members volunteered to move first, to find a new home with plenty, before returning for the others. Although wanting to experience the new sights for himself, he decided to stay behind to care for those who needed it. His size enabled him to better offer assistance to the elderly, after all. Watching the rest of his family start their trek, he was soon turning back to the remnants of the small village. Years passed, and he befriended a white wolf he named Joan. The other kept him company, giving him someone to talk to even as the Longneck elders slowly passed away, eventually leaving him alone with only the hope that one day the rest of the clan would return. Doing what he could to survive, he broke apart pieces of the other's houses to burn, catching fish and choking it down despite his aversion to the food in general. One day, though, he happened upon a small nocturne who was almost identical to him in appearance, save for the eyes. The other mimicked him in everything and he took him into his house, teaching him how to eat and care for himself. With the new dragon, he decided he had to try to find his clan. Gathering as many supplies as possible, he began leading the way across the tundra. |

Despite the adversities he faced, he continued to smile, often telling Joan and his new companion stories. One day they were attacked by a small piece of darkness that emerged from the ice. He helped Joan to fight it off, only noticing after the fight the injury that he'd sustained to his leg. Laughing it off, he bandaged it as quickly as possible. It wasn't until they came across the remains of the Longneck expedition, wiped out by an avalanche, that he finally gave into grief. Turning the group around, he led them back to the only home he knew. Soon after their return, he began to grow ill, slowing down until one day he didn't wake up, remaining in the world of his dreams where he was reunited with his family. Perhaps due to his strange circumstances early in life, he doesn't tend to mimic as much as other nocturnes and has, in fact, developed his own very unique personality. Hobbies: Drawing.
