Xero Steward of time, herald of change. A curious and somewhat feral dragon who spends her time traveling through the rivers and washes of the world. Time moves in both directions for her, and she peers through the passage of time with her second set of eyes, guarding and watching over the endless flow. It is thought that rivers amplify her oracle abilities, as she almost exclusively travels along them, but no one is certain. She often travels alone, but sightings of her are followed by sudden and abrupt change.

TIME WEAVER
★★★ Xero is a timeless creature who usually keeps to herself as she watches over the flow of time. She has made appearances to humans through the ages, and has taken different forms each time. Her forms vary widely in shape, color, scale and gender, but in each form, she always has more than one set of eyes, and wings / sets of wings are common. Whenever she is spotted, abrupt change soon follows, be it good or bad. She usually sits quietly in the background and watches, though she does occasionally grow fond of a human or a group of humans who live along rivers or in deltas. She mingles into their society, sharing her time watching abilities with those who call themselves oracles. She is known as Time Weaver to most who have met her, and she has been known to spend anywhere from a few hours to a few centuries wrapped in human society at a time. She understands and is capable of speaking audibly and via telepathy, though she remains silent to all but dragons and beastclans who she will sparingly converse with. It's unclear why she takes different forms, or why she spends such varying amounts of time at each location she rests at. She has never explained her methods, and always just states that she is called to the area and that she is waiting for someone. Some tomes have been found depicting massive battles between demons along rivers, and the scars can still be seen on the landscape. Those who have spoken with her enough to learn of her abilities often ask how her powers work. She looks saddened when asked, and is reluctant to explain the origins or details of her ability. She does however, share her abilities with others from time to time, allowing them to vicariously explore the flow of time through her. Those that do experience this explain that her abilities allow her to peer into past and future times of the given area. When time hopping, she can move around in the periods she views, but she is merely an invisible visage. She is unable to interact or make changes, as her physical body remains in the present. The past is a set course, when looking back, she will always see the same events occurring in a given area. When looking forward, she sees a web of interconnecting possible futures. She can go to any one future and view the events that occur, but these events are not fixed. The future is constantly changing, and she cannot be sure which string of time will be the accurate one. | xxxxxxxxxxxx |
