Adamnan was found as a lone egg by the excavation team and was brought back to be hatched and raised in a group effort. He's very close to the older members of the clan and as a consequence of being raised by a clan that only had one other Fae at the time, Adamnan is more adept at communicating with other breeds of dragon. In fact, at times he can have some difficulty communicating effectively with other Faes.
The little Fae cannot dig as well as other larger dragons but finding objects is an undeniable part of his nature, so he opted to join the scavenging team; often finding small valuables that the big guys either overlook or can't get to easily due to their size. Adamnan typically does his scavenging close to home, but occasionally he'll accompany his mate Yersinia on one of her spontaneous excursions.
