Once born an Ice dragon, Tesselare was always destined to wander. His wandering dragged him into the Gales, and in turn, make her a member of Curie's small colony of researchers and fierce, lionhearted warriors. Tesselare tasked himself with archiving and selling the findings of Curie's research team, looking to profit off of information that could better dragonkind, including anything surrounding the magic poisoning that twisted Curie's closest allies.

Tesselare's horde of smaller creatures are her helpful assistants, paid very generously in attention and spoiled thoroughly with his earnings from her research. His right-hand... creature is a Chillriver Bucktooth, named Frostchip. Frostchip was rescued by Curie and nursed to health by Tesselare, who it imprinted on as a wild animal would.
