Llyr never really settled in his birth clan, he felt like he didn't fit in. Maybe he didn't really try. So when the clan leader Ariel from Silverfields clan paid a short visit to the young hatchling's first home, he soon found himself being stubbornly followed everywhere by the little coatl. At first he tried to shake him off, but when that didn't work he finally caved in and asked the clan matriarch if he could take Llyr with him. Arrangements were quickly made and the very same day Llyr moved to his new home.

Initially too shy to leave Ariel's side for more than a few minutes, the hatchling soon gained his confidence as the clan grew more fond of the energetic young one. He curiously followed everyone around and learned bits and bobs from every function in the clan. As he grew, he became a jack of all trades and wherever something was done you could be sure to find Llyr there, observing and trying to copy. The older clan members had to save the experimenting young dragon from disaster more than once during those years.

Slowly, Llyr's interest turned towards tinkering and he started to assemble his own inventions with various degrees of success. Never to be put down by a failure though, Llyr keeps perfecting his creations until they do exactly what he had intended from the beginning. Nowadays when something needs to be solved, Llyr is usually the one everyone turns to. If he can't build something that solves the problem, no one can.
