Biography
Pine’s presence is always preluded by the chirping of his many feathered friends. The birds accompany him everywhere, roosting in his broad, branchlike antlers. They shed soft, down-like feathers that Pine uses to stuff cushions, comforters and plush toys, which he sews with a deft claw. He also tends a garden of herbaceous plants and small-seeded grasses, much to the birds’ delight.
He’s a Nature dragon through-and-through, and tends to prefer the company of plants and animals to that of other dragons. It’s not that he’s an antisocial sort. In truth, he is a rather shy drake, quite unaccustomed to talking with others. He expresses his feelings with actions rather than words; those clanmates that he likes are the frequent recipients of handsewn gifts and fresh-picked flora.
