Skygazer

Skygazer is a bit of a fairytail in the clan, told to the hatchlings as they are put to bed. He sleeps all day in the trees, waiting for the sun to fall and his beloved, twinkling stars to show their faces. He will most often be seen as a shadow flying through the sky, every so often blocking out a few stars as he searches for the perfect spot for the night. Along with his familiar Atlas, he catalogues the night sky and it's changes, sometimes staring through the viewfinder for hours at a time before writing a single note in his huge, leather-bound book. When they meet him, hatchlings are often afraid of his large, round eyes, saying it feels as if he is looking through them and into their soul. But they quickly come around to his low, rumbly, quiet voice, and if a hatchling is having trouble sleeping, Skygazer is the first to be called, loosely wrapping his long body around them and singing them soft songs about the stars till they fall into a peaceful slumber. If anything were to happen to Bai or Basal, Skygazer would step up to take their place as Head Of Clan.
