lore ideas:
maybe theres already one dragon(s?) hanging out in the moonray?? i have no idea how they mighta got there or why, but maybe they just happen across this dude who's just as surprised to see them as they are to see him :0

maybe as far as he knows he's always been there? maybe there was another with him at some point a long time ago.. who apparently didnt look very dragon shaped..

also if hes been there so long, what's he eating/drinking? does the moonray negate need for sustenance? if so for all dragons or just him/special ones? maybe he has his own pocket dimension similar to mintleafs bluegrass recluse? or maybe hes surprised to see the moonray having opened a new area :0 and maybe a bit miffed cuz it never did that for him lol

maybe he just wandered through the naturally generated paths? ones the others didnt even know were there. maybe they only show for him, or maybe they were hidden via the shifting of the edges? maybe the moonray just sorta takes him along to random parts of itself and switches it up every time, as opposed to how it keeps open a specific location for mintleaf?

maybe theres like specific hotspots that have useful things? that kaine learned to recognise? e.g. yellow flickers on the 'ground' mean theres something he can consume(?) nearby?

(also if hes been there for so long, he must be pretty in tune with the moonray...i wonder if he maybe has some sort of insight :eyes: ...maybe he can sort of understand the will of it g a s p)
