True to Snapper style, Carys and her mate Ariuk are travelers. They are fascinated by Sornieth's history and fancy themselves archeologists, though nothing that they do tends to be sponsored or even really approved by anyone. They explore the world and get into trouble where ever they go but always go through it with a smile.

The runes on her body are from an age old spell she encountered while she and Ariuk were in an ancient tomb. Neither she nor her mate had any inclination to change their appearances with genes, but he broke a pot in a tomb and when their torch light went out their new runic markings became apparent.

Carys is one of the most happy go lucky dragons one would ever meet. She is a loving and doting mother to her four children as well. She travels all over Sornieth with them, teaching them about the world and life in general. They visit Anwen and Danes' territory more often than they visit anywhere else, preferring to molt in a familiar place with their good friends. They usually only stay for a few days here and there before leaving, and Carys is usually the one to suggest they make their exit, never liking to be stationary for long.
