Biography
Werhathli attempted to fight her mother off the her elder confronted her. Ejora had terminated their communications the very instant she had let it slip that she had joined the ranks of the Lightforged--the woman seemed a hair short of utterly seething.
But what she had not expected was for Ejora to not only immediately hunt her down, but to also directly confront her. The Lightforged warrior uttered a silent prayer to her Highlord the the very Light they commanded, and during her reflection she came to understand: the only way forward was to attempt to defuse this situation. Werhathli understood in her very soul that failing that, her mother would raise hell itself upon her.
Her attempts were, of course, for naught. Ejora refused to hear any of pleading and bargaining. The faux tominenyeran reached up and grabbed her daughter's ethereal, illusory hair. It did not seem to matter very much at all to the aging creature that the hard light projection was burning her clenched fist. With a forceful tug, she forced her daughter onto her knees - and it had been a veritable age since she could even feel the pain of such a motion - and then began to chastise her. Ejora gave her the dressing-down of a lifetime. It was hardly over after that.
The irascible woman began to drag her shitheel of a daughter quite effortlessly, uttering strings of ancient curses amidst her diatribe--all in a language that was long dead. But Werhathli interpreted just fine--even in the King's own tongue--that not only was she going to get exactly what she was looking for, but that she was also a tremendous fool for being so eager to placate her mother that she agreed to go to the first meeting place Ejora had commanded her to.
It was a half hour too long for either of their liking when Ejora finally released her daughter, letting her roughly collapse onto the rocky precipice overlooking the crater of a very active, very live volcano. They stood right at the edge of the dropoff, facing the lava that promised an eternity of imprisonment to Lightforged who trended weaker on the scale of power. Alarmed, Werhathli made an attempt to scrabble onto her feet, and Ejora didn't move to kick her down--not yet.
"Mom, please," Werhathli pleaded, again, knowing in her heart of hearts it would be for naught yet attempting to put forth the effort anyway.
-
"i will NOT abide cowardice!" she hollers this at her as she tries to fly away to escape, but avigail snipes her lol. after wehathli is entombed avigail looks at ejora and asks "so i'm guessing you won't allow me to trade my mortal soul for immortality"
and ejora says "not unless you enjoy being buried alive."
"ejora, your tetchiness is becoming increasingly annoying."
-
"so how old are you, anyway?"
"older than I was yesterday and younger than I will be tomorrow"
