Greetings Noble Mother,

I have traveled not as far from home as I would have intended. I left the Colonnades of Antiquity feeling out of place in the bustle of trade and commerce and crowds. I first traveled to Pox Consulate, thinking that such a desolate symbol of abandoned hope and betrayal could also be a place of introspection and learning.

A Funeral Dirge?
No. A lullaby

All too close to this place of ill omen and portent is a Garden Beauty that takes the breath away. Birds and singing insects of every color gather in rainbow patterned kaleidoscopes. Amidst this beauty, and not inconsiderable noise, I slowly became aware that a group of dragons approached.

A shaggy Tundra in shades of orange and reddish; an enormous Guardian in greens dark enough that when he was still, he was difficult to see in the underbrush and a happy group of pale hatchlings, likely from the same clan, as they chattered like siblings, but two Fae and a Tundra. Then their eyes caught my attention. The older bright Tundra had eyes that spoke of plague; the Guardian’s were blue as the sea. The hatchlings eyes were as green as the foliage around me.
The two Fae twirled around me, chattering in happy welcome. And so I came to know some members of the clan of Matriarch Moonrun and First Consort WitCloud.

She smells and then smiles

Yin and Yan conjoined

I have been invited to stay. I think I shall do so for a time.
