in the night, one frigid winter evening in the woods, ohm encountered an unfamiliar dragon during her regular stroll.
a very thin and bedraggled pearlcatcher, unresponsive to any of ohm's words or nudges. her eyes were fixed elsewhere, claws shaking as she gripped their icy pearl. ohm followed her meandering path through the woods, concerned for her well-being, until the pearlcatcher slumped over into a snowbank from exhaustion and cold. ohm hurriedly hefted the young dragon onto her back, and brought her inside the guard walls to safety.
quartet is searching for her son. after recovering back to decent health, thanks to the care from other dragons, she let the guard know this. she came from the bottom of the sea and up into the wilderness, barely resting or eating for days and weeks, just to find him. quartet's tenacity impressed the head knight, victory. so much so that victory took it upon herself to take on helping quartet in her mission.
quartet is often seen in the company of ohm and victory. she is also very active in patrolling the inside of the guard walls, especially during the evening, checking on how the knights and others are doing, either via words or knowing silence.
she is not one for fighting. quartet has a natural gift for teaching and storytelling, so she often keep young dragons company by instructing them on basic survival skills, usually in the emotional and psychological sense. though her body is weak, quartet's mind is sharp and strong. there are few other dragons that can challenge her in a match of stubbornness and win, though quartet's stubbornness comes from a good place.
