Glacier

She comes to Winterborne, wounded and weak,
Seeking refuge from the Boreal Wood's bleak.
A natural navigator, her travels took a toll,
And she found herself in Winterborne's control.

Meeting Ortoros, their bond was quick to ignite,
Together they raised their hatchlings in Winterborne's sight.
Their children were diplomats, but she was not,
Harsh, sarcastic, and quiet, her words were sharp, and her presence was hot.

But the safety of Winterborne allowed her to heal,
And she found herself warming to this place of appeal.
The dragons were kind, and their efforts were grand,
Yet she knew in her heart she could not make her stand.

For her nature demanded she must move on,
And leave Winterborne behind, though it felt so wrong.
Her injuries had mended, and her strength had grown,
And she must continue her journey alone.

With a heavy heart, she said her goodbyes,
And watched as Winterborne faded into the skies.
But the memories remained, of a place so kind,
And she knew in her heart, a part of her would be left behind.
