Personality:

Gentle, kind, and idealistic, if a bit naive and passive.


Backstory:

Linnea has been part of the Chosen since she was young. Clarice was almost like a mother to her, and she felt great gratitude and loyalty to her. Amaranth joined the Chosen when they were adolescents, and they fell in love. They were mates for several years, but Amaranth was growing more and more disillusioned with Clarice and the Chosen’s ideology. While Linnea didn’t necessarily disagree—she could see that things weren’t perfect—she’d always been more passive than Amaranth, and didn’t want to do anything drastic. When Amaranth first proposed the idea of them leaving, Linnea was frightened and upset. She refused, and Amaranth reluctantly agreed to stay because she wouldn’t leave her. But only a short while later, there was an incident where Clarice did something Amaranth found truly unforgivable(?), and Amaranth left the clan on the spot. She basically said to Linnea, “If you’re still willing to support her after seeing that, then you’re no better than her and our relationship is over.” Linnea has heard that she since joined the Outcasts, but has not spoken to her since. Linnea is still grieving their relationship and wondering if she made the right choice in sticking with the Chosen. She was heartbroken when Clarice died, and is wary of Hanako, not sure if she’ll turn out like her mother or if that’s even what she wants.
