Biography
THIRD TAB RESIDENT
1st row
2nd square
originally suggested familiar : Tourmaline Vulstal
the (on day of birth) identical twin sister was named:
"Polaris", etymologicaly spoken belonging to the poles, etymology pole = axis of rotation, sky home of the gods
also, Polaris, the North Star, glistens, well-obviously!
LATER ETA : idk what is obvious on that, so that it needs to be mentioned so sneakily and mysteriously. i also have no clue how to incorporate a connection to EITHER a singular star OR the poles, when they are always leading to the same, single etymology??
.
.
.
i'll go with "sky home of the gods" and oppose it with something very terrestial and even submerging..
.
.
.
[INUKTITUT]
ᒪᐅᔭ (Latin mauja) / deep, soft snow ~} ~} ~} mauja / Latin spelling of ᒪᐅᔭ (maoya)
.
.
.
parents names are "North" and "South", as by belonging to the poles the sister, Polaris, makes the parents' names making sense.
IDEA: maybe, belonging to the poles, just as ice belonga to poles? and both are glistening as well??
in that case i can keep "maoya/snow, BUT i can also chane to a word for ice!
.
.
.
SOUTH
[PERSIAN]
From Middle Persian nymrwc (nēmrōz, “south, midday”). Analyzable as نیم (nim) + روز (ruz), literally “half day”. Compare Parthian nymrwc (nēmrož, “south”).
نیمروز • (nimruz) (archaic)
"south"
Synonym: جنوب (jonub)
"noon, midday"
Synonym: ظهر (zohr)
.
.
.
NORTH
[UKRAINIAN]
пів- (piv-) {Inherited from Old East Slavic полъ (polŭ), from Proto-Slavic *polъ (“half”)} and ніч (nič) {From Old East Slavic ночь (nočĭ), from Proto-Slavic *noťь, from Proto-Indo-European *nókʷts}.
пі́вніч • (pívnič)
(countable) midnight
(uncountable) north
