Gonzalez does not talk much about her days in the Southern Icefield to anyone other than her husband. The dragons that know the most about her past are the ones she decides are worthy of hearing her tales, or just lucky enough to have Gonzalez be in the right mood at the right time. Mostly, these dragons are her fellow soldiers. Working among them, she feels as though they are her brothers and sisters, and is more than happy to share a tale every now and again when she feels they’ve earned it. Only when they’ve earned it, and her stories are hard to earn. She believes earning one of the “mysterious general’s” stories is a good way to motivate the soldiers to work hard. Gonzalez takes her job very seriously, and does everything she can to ensure the survival of her soldiers and her clan. She knows when to give them breaks and knows the right rewards to motivate the right soldiers. She has much time to get to know all of her soldiers, and yet not many can say that they know Gonzalez very well.

What is known about her past on the Southern Icefield is that it was what transformed her into such an amazing fighter and strategist. She tells of great battles for survival against the harsh weather and even against other Wildclaw clans, but never goes too deep into specific details. Many believe that Gonzalez suffered great loss, leading her to abandon her clan. Others theorize that maybe Gonzalez lost one of the infamous Wildclaw duels, and was abandoned by her clan. The latter is closer to the truth than she will ever admit. Despite her past, Gonzalez has found her place in the Starfall Order and believes this is her perfect place in the world. Commanding and leading has always been a dream, and she’s proven to be a great leader time and time again.
