Nydriane

Nydriane lives on the coast of the Shifting Expanse, near where Carrion Canyon empties into the channel bordering the Sunbeam Ruins. Her lair is half on the water and half underground, and she farms rare jellyfish and molluscs for their potent venom, which she brews into compounds stable enough to be useful for hunting monsters. Well, and dragons and beastfolk too, but it's not Nydriane's business what people do with her products. She prefers tending her aquariums over fighting, but she's a dangerous warrior if threatened, combining radiomantic constructs with lethal venom. Her lab guardian, which is alarmingly similar to a model that's only supposed to exist in the most well-appointed workshops in the Turrets of Goldensparc, is customized with life-like nematocysts and her latest toxins. One of her life goals is to convince Mekzalimuo, the wandering Veilspun monster hunter, to let her milk his pet fan scorpion. It has five venom sacs, he can afford to let one be emptied for science!
