Biography

Malodor_Header.png
On average, the Wyrmwound claims over a dozen dragons every month.

The number of accidental victims have gone down since the recent rediscovery of the abberations, who are generally not keen on dragons stumbling anywhere near their lairs and even less keen on dragons accidentally falling into their favorite proving grounds. Still, many are unfortunate enough to stumble too close, whether on dares or simply blind bad luck, and sink beneath the toxic sludge to re-emerge changed.

"Malodor" does not remember who he was before the Wound. He does not remember his family—his clan—his original name. That is alright. Certain nocturnes tend to have a loose sense of identity, ever-shifting, picking up bits and pieces from other dragons to graft on to their own personality. Perhaps he just takes it a few steps farther. Perhaps there are plenty of bones and other trinkets to scavenge on the rotting edges of the Wyrmwound.

Perhaps there are plenty of dragons that might wander too close, in the meantime.

Not all of the dragons who vanish on the edges of the Wyrmwound are claimed by the wound itself.
