Seref

Seref is an expert in the production of raw materials for cloth. Met Ancilier while working in the city near the pillar, and eventually she convinced him to come back and give clan Achulian a try. Part of this was her desire for his high quality cloths for her works, part of it was her desire to play matchmaker. The new partnership between Seref and Karma does seem to work, even in Ancilier watched over half their dates.

Seref has his own little workshop a short distance from the clan. It's dug into the side of a rock crag, and indoors Turepo has help him create a viable space for his two herds of animals - silkworms and fluffy-insect-familiar-rel=place-with-actual-name. The silkworms spin their webs on the ceiling, the fmailiars are shaved for their wool, and the cotton plants that the two herds eat can also be harvested for their fibers.




Seref prioritises warmth and comfort, not colour. All his clothing vaguely matches, and that's more than enough from his point of view. He made all of it himself, just as he also makes cushions and dais covers and all manner of other furnishings. However when he's making anything for any other dragon, he gratefully defers to Ancilier, and lets her decide what shade it should be. This respectful compliance has made him the spiral's favourite in a large lair full of other dragons that stubbornly refuse to recognise why everything should be done according to Ancilier's plan, and the proud matriarch promptly set Seref up with one of the young dragons she claims as family, Karma. The new partnership seems to be moving along well, even if half their dates are watched over by Ancilier's gleeful matchmaker eyes.
