  • Hemera, called Sunshine by close friends, is usually an extremely cheerful dragon so long as the weather upholds. As soon as it gets cloudy or the sun goes away, you'll find Hemera sulking around the lair. Storms make her especially sad, and lightning strikes make her feathers bristle.
  • Due to this association with weather, dragons from her clan normally check on her mood to predict the weather of that day. Of she's beginning to sulk, chances are that it'll rain. Hemera herself doesn't mind this sort of 'being used', because she loves being able to help her clan, even while sulking away in her den.
  • Her gembond gems are quite warm to the touch, and she claims that they absorb sunlight to later glow in the dark, like little lanterns. For this reason, she's often seen giving bits of her gemstones away to hatchlings to use as nightlights. They're quite fond of her.
  • Hemera will usually eat sugarcane on the daily, and it's not unusual to find her chewing on a stalk out of boredom.
