Asmin

The Dragon of Rainbows is only born once a century. This makes Asmin very special. Due to her sacred status, she has a very important role to play in the Village of Light and Color. She is responsible for creating the brilliant hues that the dragons of this clan use for power and decoration. She is the rainbow itself. She streaks across the sky with her multicolored magic trailing behind her in a haze of chromatic wonder. Each color rains down onto a specific object, plant, or creature. It’s an exact science. If Asmin were to accidentally color something incorrectly, chaos would ensue. Luckily, she’s quite adept at her job. She has never made a mistake in all her years as Dragon of Rainbows. She prides herself on perfection, selecting the perfect color for each entity in the Village. She works closely with Rhamnella to make sure everything is in order for the sunrise routine. She also creates the rainbows themselves. Rainbows are sacred in the Village of Light and Color. They are symbols of the Village, which makes Asmin a symbol of the village, too. Without her, everything would crumble and fade. While Rhamnella is the beloved Clan Leader, the Dragon of Rainbows is the source of the entire Village’s magic. She is a rare being indeed. Her magic keeps the Village safe from monochromatic mayhem. She is deeply appreciated and celebrated by other dragons for her service. They have a celebration dedicated to the Dragon of Rainbows every year. The festival is known as “Rainbow Day.” It’s complete with a feast, games, dancing, and a parade through the Village Square. Asmin thinks it’s a bit much, but she’s grateful for their kindness. She always takes time to build the most spectacular float for the parade. No one has ever come close to matching her decorative capabilities. The Dragon of Rainbows is a symbol of love and hope for the Village of Light and Color. Asmin knows this. She would never let her clanmates down.
