When she came to the flight, Arantha was immediately fought over by Hela and Shoggothla, each of whom wanted to train her in their specialty- war in Hela's case, worship and magic in Shoggothla's. Arantha insisted on being trained by both of them, and so is well-known among the other dragons as being knowledgeable about almost everything. She is wise beyond her years and beloved by her mentors (though they don't often say so out loud). Arantha has also reached out to Hysteria to study strategy, Arktouros to learn deeper spirituality, Daoliar to understand diplomacy, and dragons who have lived and traveled in other Flights to learn of their customs and deities. Although a Light dragon, Arantha has only really known Plague and wouldn't have it any other way. Her loyalty runs deep, and so when Shoggothla offered her the distinguished markings of a Fae female who's been touched by Contagion, Arantha didn't even have to think before saying yes.
Generous and understanding, Arantha is always ready to help her flightmates. But when things get rough, her knowledge of battle kicks in and she is among the fiercest of warriors.

Arantha's granddaughter Iolite, who stayed with the clan, is frequently visited by her grandmother. Mero, likewise, is on excellent terms with her mother.
