Biography

His determination intensified as he navigated the treacherous zones, each step bringing him closer to either uncovering the answers he sought, or his own decaying demise. The expedition, now a convergence of intellect and survival, forged an unspoken alliance between Triton and Ganymede, cast in the crucible of Plague’s desolation. The researcher found solace in Triton's commitment which resonated within Ganymede, surpassing personal grief and transforming into a relentless pursuit of retribution. He recognized Triton’s transformation into a seeker of justice and stood beside him as an ally, both now bound by a shared pursuit of knowledge and a yearning for answers that danced at the fringes of the macabre.

Amidst the eerie silence of the Quarantine Zones, the two new companions felt the pull of an invisible force—the Ruby Pools, tugging at their souls. Triton's heart pounded with a bit of fear and a lot of anticipation as he approached the threshold of the forbidden realm, knowing that the justice he sought was veiled within the shadows and shrouded in a darkness unknown to him. The journey to the Ruby Pools was no mere exploration—it was a sinister descent into the heart of Plague and a reckoning for the unanswered questions that lingered in Triton's icy soul.

The expedition party, now led by Triton and Ganymede, pressed further into the depths of the desolate terrain surrounding the Ruby Pools. The once-whispered secrets now echoed louder, drawing them deeper into the murky landscapes. The ground beneath their claws felt different here, tainted by the residue of a power that defied the natural order. As they approached, the air thickened with an almost tangible malevolence. The first glimpse of the Ruby Pools sent shivers through Triton's spine. The darkened liquid seemed to pulse with an otherworldly energy, reflecting the twisted forms of shadows that danced upon its surface.

Ganymede, usually composed and collected, betrayed a flicker of uncertainty. The knowledge he had sought throughout his scholarly endeavors paled in comparison to the ominous reality before them. The blood of Bhaal, the ethereal dragon whose essence sustained the pools, transformed the once-clear waters into a living, breathing entity that defied all reason.

Triton and Ganymede ventured closer to the edge of the Ruby Pools. The eeriness of the surroundings intensified, and the very air seemed to hum with a haunting melody—a symphony of despair and forbidden knowledge that threatened to consume all who dared to seek its truths. A hushed tension enveloped the team as they stood at the precipice of the Ruby Pools. Ganymede exchanged a glance with Triton, acknowledging the weight of their shared purpose. The pool’s surface shimmered with an uncanny glow, casting distorted reflections that danced upon the surroundings, and the air, laden with a peculiar resonance, whispered a foreboding breath.

As they reached the pool’s edge, Ganymede motioned for Triton to stay close, but his gaze was fixated on the fluid that had forever changed his brother. The swirling patterns beneath the surface seemed to whisper, whisper secrets that Apatite had dared to uncover. Ganymede, detecting Triton's inner turmoil, offered a steadying presence. The pool's reflection distorted Triton's image as it rippled and writhed, creating a surreal tableau that corresponded with the duality of his quest—a noble dragon thrust into the unknown abyss of dismay and decay, seeking both closure and justice.

With a deep breath, Triton steeled himself for what lay ahead, ready to confront the spectral gloom that consumed his brother, and the echoes of Bhaal that reverberated all around them. With Ganymede at his side, Triton pushed aside his fears and doubts, eager to unveil the twisted truths that awaited beneath the surface of the Ruby Pools.
