Bredesbjarki

Nobody knows how long his egg had been where it had been discovered. Frozen in a glacier, somewhere under the snow cover in the Southern Icefield, it had been found by a few dragons sent there to dig for treasures. They had nearly assumed it to be just another piece of ice that was particularly hard to break down, but then one of them used magic on it and the eggshell reacted. Panicked, the crew immediately abandoned their work and flew to the nearest settlement, where they asked for aid in rescuing the egg.

It took a few weeks worth of care, slowly moving the egg into warmer spaces so the hatchling inside would not die, but they succeeded! Bredesbjarki was born, likely centuries after his egg had originally been laid, as a dragon infused deeply with Ice magic, and the talent of freezing things in his vicinity. However, he is incredibly brittle, and on occasion, he had to be healed because a piece of his perpetually frozen wings was chipped off. He cannot and likely will never be able to fly.

The 'little bear' - a nickname given by his adoptive mother Adrasil, who was a part of the expedition that found him, and a survivor of the Frozen Wastes - grew up to study all things Ice Flight. The magic, the maps, the food and events. And while he was rarely able to visit, the dragons he sent to find knowledge for him helped him build an incredible network of informants in the Southern Icefield, granting him the opportunity to become the Ice Flight's ambassador for the Dann-j'noss clan.

He is on mostly neutral terms with the other ambassadors, but Firdruck and him have some issues that lead them to clash whenever they are in the same vicinity. The Fire ambassador gets sick easily, and is quick to shoot some biting remarks at Bredesbjarki whenever the tundra gets to close to him. From his point of view, Bredesbjarki can see that they simply are not meant to be in the same space, as Firdruck often carries a mild heat around him. Nothing as intense as Bredesbjarki's aura of frost, but enough to make him feel ill as well. He keeps well away from any furnaces or fires.

Still, he is good friends with Cecilia, the drakaina who compiles all the news the ambassadors bring to spread around the clan. He is also friends with the ice cream vendor at the Carnival, Kelna. And with his many acquaintances outside the clan, he never feels lonely, despite some dragons thinking he should be, with only two friends inside the clan.
