xxxxGetting to the end of that book meant getting to the end of options and attempts, once again she reached the end of the road. The frustration, hardcore searching, intense and attention reading that pages slowly became tiresome. Was the end of the road and she knew the taste of it.

xxxxHer hands flipped pages, her finger went from left to right while she read again, again and again. The volumous curls in her back had one or another lock falling to front of her shoulders. She exhaled.

xxxx— It is not ok for today? — Dara passed her hand through Irina's waist and stroke her back in soft motions.

xxxxIrina was looking down and saw the sword and dagger on Dara's belt and scabbard. Each time she saw any of these, either of Dara or anyone, she remembered her old days which were not so long ago. These tastes never left her mouth.

xxxxIrina didn't had a single word to say today. Heavier were becoming her thoughts and the bed and silence of her room was attractive now. Her vision blurred from the book, she looked at her own arm marked with many alchemy, magic and ritualistic symbols, and the other opaque in which she could always see the bone that wasn't' hers and was at the same time. Same of that missing part in her back, which she hide with her heavy curled hair. Not enable to fight or fly anymore, the wonky handwriting, a lightly arm, and her body who refused the prosthetics, was what she had now.

xxxxDara picked something inside her bag after stepping a bit out and bring her hunted meal and other bags she left at the entrance.

xxxx— Give it a try — she extended the creased letter to Irina. I will company you. Let's go there — Dara said in a soft and cheering tone.

xxxx— His majesty, earlty, all father dreamer, follower of thunder has the interest in your work — she flipped the letter, the seal of the king and queen, her name handwritten in shimmer gold and blue ink — maybe, maybe.

xxxxIrina sat down on her armchair, her only one wing came down in a despond motion.

Prosthetics were refused by her body, so now she's appealing to magic and have a bone opaque arm in the place. She couldn't find a solution to her wing. While trying magic to solver her situation she learns a lot and becomes a skilled sorcerer. After moving to Besart and meeting the magical figures there she little by little embraces sorcery and magic more, realizing she's good on it and her warrior days are now in the past. Her good arm has lots of magic tattoos, circles and symbols. Daria may be in love with her, maybe not. If you ask me I do picture them as a pairing, but I also like to let open to imagination. Dara supports her a lot and gave up part of her warrior and mercenary life to be with her and help. She's inspired by Melinoe in Hades 2 when the trailer was released. Headcanon by Mudy: "She's the winter soldier." I like that, imagining she's being a ****** when she gets a good functional magic arm and can kick some butts, now with sword and magic?
