Living within a forest gets lonely, especially when there are so many spooky stories that involve a forest. Add that MonarchSkull's house is an old cabin makes things worse for their social life....An old cabin in the forest...Doesn't that sound like the plot for a horror story/movie?

Well, MonarchSkull has adjusted to life in their old cabin by taking in a lifelong hobby: Lepidopterology. The study of moths and butterflies. Their favorite specimens are the gorgeous monarch butterflies and others that look similar to them. They find the colors and patterns fascinating, so much so that they have decided to change their appearance to resemble a monarch butterfly. Unfortunately, their skull-like scale pattern is unalterable. It seems to be a curse from their mysterious past...
Why are they living in an old cabin, out in the lonesome forest? Are they hiding from something? Are they on the run from a traumatizing event? What if they simply chose to be alone?
For we may never know, MonarchSkull is mute, secretive, and shy, thus there will be no answers to their past life... It's best to leave them be with their butterfly and moth friends.
