The Spectator :// Unnerving . Marble . StatueaGa5OsG.gif

As the trio of young dragons moved further into the old amusement park, they were able to locate a stack of old maps in a broken kiosk and began to move from attraction to attraction, making the most of the daylight hours so they could mark dangerous or unreachable locations on their map. During their exploration, they noticed numerous marble statuettes pointing them in the direction of certain rides or locations. While grateful, they slowly became more suspicious of the tiny dragons guiding their way, leading them ever-deeper into the overgrown park. Something about them felt... off.

Eventually they found themselves in an old auditorium, clearly designed for musical acts and stage shows, based on the musical-themed decor along the walls. Despite the decay and holes in the walls where nature had run its course, it was clearly a well-loved place from the well-worn seats and benches, to the neatly-stacked sheets of music still resting alongside the long-abandoned piano backstage. There was an air of grandness to this place, and they were careful not to disturb anything unless necessary. The smallest dragon fluttered up to a stern-looking statue that overlooked the audience from above the stage, and gave it a gentle dusting-off before returning to her friends. A sense of pride swelled from within. It wasn't much in the grand scheme of things, but showing a bit of respect to the old place felt nice, and, she thought, perhaps the park felt the same.
