Nezzdiim

Nezzdiim, a high born Coatl of exquisite parents, has certain ideas about how she will be treated and to whom she will associate.
She would have chosen to stay at her home nest, but her parents died young and she was sent away as a mere hatchling, accepted into the Gladekeeper's territory and into a mighty clan.
She was adopted, but she never lost her sense of a greater, more noble beginning. She has few friends, except for Nandini the new Nocturne arrival and Pezzir, a rather striking Coatl male who has tried to woo her for a long time.
Pezziir's affections eventually made an impact upon her and she was convinced of the dragon's nobility and sincerity. Their children, royal heirs to her lineage and position within the clan, Nebula and Payleer, where her joy. To have a biological connection to the world was very important to her.
Then disaster struck.
One day Pezziir returned from a week long hunting trip, but not with game in toe. Two hatchlings, mere weeks old stumble behind him as he enters their home. They reek of the plague fields and the scent of another female, but also of...Pezziir.
Pezziir tried to explain himself, but Nezzdiim, wrathful and distraught in his betrayal of her, turns him and the hatchlings away. Her anger for her former love and his illegitimate offspring grows by the year as they become young dragons in the clan.
Unfortunately, her anger poisons her daughter, Nebula, against the one dragon that chooses to remain, Bondbone.
