Smaug the Stupendous, Terror of Eraber
___________________________________________________________________________________

Of all the dragons tied to the clan Eraber, Smaug the Terrible is by far the most... terrible. In fact, there are few dragons whom those of the Murky Woodland have had the displeasure to meet that are held to such despicable reputations as the aforementioned beast. As heavy as a lone mountain and as wicked as the darkest demon, Smaug the Stupendous shows little concern for anything save his own life and massive hoard of riches. The giant is simply gargantuan in size, his thick frame able to shake the ground where his talons might fall in step. Though he isn't lacking in the skill of flight too much due to this. While unable to perform the twisting maneuvers of those in smaller scale, the drake is quite capable of getting his massive frame off of the earth and into the cloud layer.

In fact, it was from the sky that Smaug first wreaked havoc upon the Erabers. The scorching breath of the titan sought out the dragons in the Tangled Wood below for no reason other than to burn their lands and spark chaos. He found his rein of terror to be so gratifying that he decided to set up a permanent residence just north of the lair of the Erabers in a winding and spacious set of caverns. It is here that he hoards any and all of the vast amount of riches that he has taken from his hapless victims of Eraber in an ever growing pile of gold, and it is here that he slumbers in a hibernation-like sleep until he is stirred awake by his desire to rise from the earth and impose his presence by stirring up misfortune once more.

Though he had run the original leader off of his throne with the madness of fear in order to take the lead for himself and scattered the clan that now stands so strong, his tyranny was put to an end by the now-leader Dis. The dusky, sunset-toned female of his own kind was so ferocious and capable in the battle between them that she was able to overcome the jewel-hided serpent the vary color of the blood he spilled. To this day, she is the only drake within Eraber that is able to fend off an attack mounted by him, and therein, Smaug finds himself unable to pick upon the lesserlings much, given they're under her constant watch.
