Biography
Whereas Richter lives up to his breed in just about every way, Altaica lives up to her native element in just about every way. She is a Shadow dragon through and through, a charismatic and sly trickster that has a penchant for collecting things by not exactly asking others if they'll let her have them. She isn't as much a fan of outright pranks as she is a fan of illusions, and uses her natural magic reserve and element to occasionally mystify others in feats of illusionary magic - a perfect fit for the familiar she chose to take on.
Still, with that ability, she definitely has her uses - she's great for entertaining hatchlings (and loves to do it), and can help keep the lair defended in ways that definitely keep invading species off-balance. What she gets out of the deal isn't exactly clear, but whatever it is, it's enough to get her to stick around.
