Ellaria was born in the midst of the vibrant energy of storms and the electrifying force of lightning, her roots extending back to the faraway territories of the Lightning Clan. Ellaria was a brilliant dragon writing in languages long gone with the wind. Her teenage years were spent writing thousands of letters in different dying languages. She wrote until the papers reached high up the ceiling in big stacks. As Ellaria's reputation as a master scribe spread throughout many different clans, whispers of her unparalleled talent reached the ears of the water clan's high-ranking officials. Recognising her talent and commitment, they assigned her a critical task: transcribe divine communications reportedly received directly from the gods of the Water Clan. Ellaria accepted it, knowing it would change her life. She worked tirelessly throughout the day and night, interpreting the mysterious messages which included blessings, prophesies, and cautions from the celestial gods. During one of the heaviest floods in the water clan, Ellaria's wings got squished by heavy metal that had fallen due to the flood. The damage inflicted was catastrophic, leaving Ellaria reeling in agony and despair. Ellaria was devastated and in excruciating pain as a result of the devastating harm that was done. Together with the physical agony of her damaged body, Ellaria was also struggling to deal with the crushing weight of her unfinished business. In addition to destroying her wings, the flood also threatened to submerge her under a mountain of severe obligations, extinguishing the glimmer of hope that had carried her through countless difficulties in the past. Ellaria struggled with the hopelessness that was about to consume her with every breath and every movement. However, a ray of light appeared through the darkness that was about to swallow her in the shape of a doctor from the plague clan named Shizerus. Famous for his ability to heal, Shizerus came to Ellaria's side to heal her. He put in endless hours trying to ease her pain, his delicate claws crafting elaborate spells of healing magic to try to repair her broken wings, Ellaria's strength gradually returned day by day with Shizerus's soft touches, her soul lifted by his everlasting support. Shizerus became not only her healer but also her ray of hope throughout her darkest moments because of his selfless actions. |
