Belial arrived to Sornieth with Lucifer, not for the sake of allegiance to her but simply for the opportunity to do whatever fae wanted in a new environment, although fae acts as Lucifer's advisor regardless of this lack of allegiance. In fact, it is Beelzebub (and Belial's opportunistic nature and desire to survive) that keeps Belial from persuading Lucifer and any of the other dragons in the lair from misbehaving. Belial will only give faer counsel to Lucifer, and does not feel particularly beholden to Naberius regardless of the fact that fae is living in her lair.

Belial has no bonded mate, and is actually much more concerned with talking people into relationships or being something of a noncommittal flirt. This sometimes causes faer to butt heads with Sitri, who is far more emotionally invested in the goings-on of other dragons' relationships and sometimes deeply disagrees with Belial's matchmaking schemes.

Belial recognizes the authority of no deities over faerself, but has some respect for the Plaguebringer. Fae does not particularly care for any of the warring tendencies between the flights or deities, namely because fae can't really be bothered to entertain the amount of effort war tends to require. It is because of this that Belial often ends up in a "peacekeeping" role within the lair, preventing battles and fights if fae feels it will grow to getting faer actively involved.
