One of the most notorious dragons of the Ashfall waste, Hadegi. She carries many names the most well-known being Death's Vanguard, for wherever she goes death will follow whether it is caused by her or the storm she brings. If you see billowing smoke on the horizon or the faintest scent of smoldering flesh, I suggest you run. Run far off into the distance. -Carmine, Leader of the Clan of the greater fumaroles The only thing Hadegi wishes for is to sew chaos and death around her, cursed by the residue of a long dead god. A cloud of ash-like fog follows her like an impending plague, the fist warning sign is the gradual wilting of flameweed and a feeling that can be described as a sense of impending doom. She is more of a myth than a dragon, almost a ghost story to be told with hushed voices. Physically she is naturally a massive ridgeback that towers over even imperials or guardians yet the most intimidating thing about her are her glassy green eyes, always placed upon the horizon. Before the change, before the darkness found her she was as normal as normal could be. A young dragon being raised quietly by her parents in a large welcoming clan, although even when she was young she was overly sadistic, the kind of dragon that would smash squirrels for fun. She needed power, power to complete her goals.. To create the world she wanted to live in, the world she needed to exist. In search of this power she traveled far afield to old relics, death sites and was eventually led to the grave of an acolyte of the Flamecaller. A demigod killed for the insanity supposed immortality brings to a mortal mind, the minds of the weak. Hadegi released this insane tarnished soul where it partially fused with her body, giving her many of it's powers and influencing her intent. Other smaller fragments of this power was released into the world, tainting the waste just as it tainted her. Her recent interest in the fumaroles is due to the general smoke rising from it, it seems to make her abilities even more potent. More deadly. Due to being one of the larger clans on the fumaroles Hadegi has begun to stalk the edges of the borders. Her quiet watchful eyes ever waiting.  ..
