Biography
Temperance
Eldest Primary Daughter to the Goblin King
Eldest Primary Daughter to the Goblin King
Temperance is the eldest Primary daugter of Jareth, the Goblin King. She is wise and soft-spoken, always ready with a curious ear to hear tales of far away. Considered her younger sister Faren's best friend, she shares the sentiment, but is much more reserved about showing affection.
As she begins to travel her world, she requests that should any future lair wish to exalt her, she either be passed on to another lair for an exciting new adventure, or sent home to the Castle Beyond the Goblin City* to tell the stories of her travels, and the friends she met along the way.

Letters to Home:

Dearest Members of the Reedcliff Ascent,
Regards,
Temperance
I leave home today... I am excited for the opportunity, but... apprehensive... about leaving the lair
and our father. My sister shows quite a different brand of exuberance. As I gather the little bit of treasure I've collected in preparation for my new home, I can see her bouncing between the bamboo reeds at the edge of our land.
There also appears to be a shimmering Skydancer by the edges with those of us preparing to
leave. I didn't think she's been scheduled to leave our lair, but perhaps sir Leonardo has rearranged some more. (I think she's wandering too much to be saying goodbye to anyone, but perhaps she's just too shy to make herself known.)
At any rate, my little sister is waiting for me, and, if I'm honest, I'd rather spend our final hours in
this clan together.
Here's hoping for a pleasant journey, and a cheerful return, whenever that may be.
Regards,
Temperance

Dearest Members of the Reedcliff Ascent,
Sincerely and Goodnight,
Temperance
A cozy fledgling clan residing in the Zephyr Steppes.
They instantly befriended me and invited me to dinner... which I gratefully accepted. A salad of Bamboo Leaves, Clovers, and sprinkled with the most Fragile Moth Wings that just melt in your mouth, with Mistral Beetles for dessert.
There were many hatchlings, all of different breeds... and origins. None of them were related, but yet they
were here together as a family... I already miss mine, but I'm not turning back now. I'm doing this for you, Faren.
Right now, they're asking me to stay the night in their lair, which I will also gratefully accept. I will write again soon.
Sincerely and Goodnight,
Temperance

It has been a little while since I've last written, and I apologize.
The clan was in dire need of some help though. To make their personal manners short, they needed help with nesting and then taking care of the new hatchlings. You see, all the hatchlings in here were taken in, and so this first batch of eggs were their first! The three Tundra girls were born, and I had the pleasure of naming one of them.
Asides from that, the clan also decided to expand their lair for all future hatchlings and other wanderers like
me. There are a few permanent residents, like Ms. Lestrazia, a young skydancer who prefers to be called Johnny. She is a handful and honestly a bit brash, but she has a heart of gold... or platinum. I have already seen a few dragons leave the lair to continue their journey to serve The Windsinger though. I should be leaving soon as well, but not yet, not until the hatchlings are grown.
I hope you are all doing well though, and I miss you!
I've gathered many tales from the temporary residents of the clan, and I can't wait to tell you them.Seasons Blessings,
Temperance

It's time to continue my journey
There is nothing going on in the least, which may or may not be an actual reason for leaving.
The little clan has become not so little, and things have come to a dull calm as some visitors are starting to stay. That was never my intention though, so, before I get too comfortable I must depart.
It was a good run though, and the two leaders ( Have I mentioned them? A Fae and a Tundra from
the Nature Flight. A interesting bunch, even if I had to turn down the Tundra's advances. ) agreed that I should continue on my journey.
I do have a lot of new stories that I can't wait to share with you though!
See you soon,
Temperance

Dearest Members of the Reedcliff Ascent Twisting Crescendo(!),
Love Always,
Temperance
I've taken the long way 'round, but, for at least a while, I am home. And it appears I'll have to
address my letters and entries differently to accommodate our new location in the Twisting Crescendo!
Upon my arrival, my thoughts instantly went to Faren, and how she was doing. Unfortunately, it
seems we've heard neither hide nor hair from her. West Wind's Scribe, Darksight, assures me she is safe and loved, and I couldn't ask for more. It seems she's even begun a family of her own! I am happy and yet...
... I visited Father today. I was surprised upon returning not to be greeted with the news of younger
siblings. Surely he still wishes for an heir, and I had somehow hoped to... Bond(?) again with part of my family I could potentially have a real connection with. Father is grand and splendid, but he's flippant and mischievous, too. I suspect he spends most of his time with Mother, though I've still yet to meet her. I often wonder why that is.
I suppose more than anything, I am feeling alone. I know I shouldn't, with my clan all around me,
but without someone I can closely connect to, it doesn't feel especially essential that I be here. Not to mention it seems I've taken to traveling more than I ever would have dreamed.
When you find this letter, my dearest family, I will likely be on my way again. I know I've not
stayed long, but something is calling me. I suppose it always has. Who knows what waits for me out in Sornieth!
I will see you again.
Love Always,
Temperance
