Fuery is probably the quietest dragon in the entire clan. Thoughtful, kindly, gentle, and reserved, he's pretty much a gentle giant, also clocking in as the largest member of the clan. It's usually pretty hard to upset him in any way, so he's very easy to talk to. He's a great listener, and is actually pretty good at giving people advice. Every member of the clan has come to him to vent or to find advice at one point or another.
Growing up, Fuery had to come to terms with his fate as a Guardian--that he would one day have to leave his family for his Search. The entire prospect scared and excited him at the same time, an experience every Guardian goes through. He did, however, feel very saddened at the knowledge that he would one day have to leave his family forever. Because of that, he was rather introspective and thoughtful, but also very loving. He spent every moment enjoying his family and living happily with them.
Years passed. While no one spoke of it, everyone knew that Fuery was nearing the age all Guardians leave for their Search. No one was yet prepared to speak to him about it; they knew it was coming, but didn't know when.
One day, Garrin asked Fuery to go into town to run a few errands for him. Fuery, helpful as always, obliged.
Many, many more hours than usual passed. Night had fallen. The clan was beginning to get worried. The children were all put to bed, but none of the adults slept.
Sometime before sunrise, a thunderstorm hit. Lightning flashed and thunder roared, while the adults kept a keen eye outside.
Eventually, a familiar figure landed outside the lair. In walked Fuery, bruised and bleeding. His unusually cold glare and icy aura was enough to render the clan speechless. However, in his arms rested a tiny, bright blue baby Snapper.
Fuery spoke very little that night. He offered no explanation about the child, his state, or what happened. He merely asked for a quiet, soft place to tuck the baby in. He also requested that no one bother him for a long time.
It was evening the next day before Fuery came back out from his secluded section of the lair. His uncharacteristically hostile demeanor was all but gone, replaced instead by a much more tired version of himself. He understood that his family probably had questions, so he sat and answered as many as he could.
The baby Snapper was a toddler named Gabrielle. And she was his Charge. She couldn't stay where she previously was.
And that was all they could get out of him. He refused to explain further; who the child's parents were, how he found her, where his injuries came from, and most of all his strange behavior last night. He refused to speak any more of it. He did, however, ask if it was alright with everyone for Gabrielle to remain here with them. He would like to stay and take care of her here, but knew that not everyone would be comfortable with that.
Once again, Freya was the first voice to speak up. She wasn't comfortable with adding a strange child to their growing family; she didn't like that she didn't know where she came from. For the first time ever, Fuery vehemently reproached his mother. They argued for some time. Eventually, it boiled down to Fuery leaving with Gabrielle, his charge; or staying here with his family and raising her.
Of course, Freya couldn't stand the thought of losing her son. She finally gave in, and the rest of the family agreed as well.
Fuery now spends most of his time watching over and bonding with Gabrielle. He refuses to call himself her father, but obviously loves her like one. The two are a strange pair, but a very close one. The clan's just happy that they can have a few more years with Fuery in their lives.

Fuery is probably the quietest dragon in the entire clan. He's very thoughtful and reserved, and is the second-oldest out of his siblings. It's usually pretty hard to anger him, which is good for the rest of his siblings--he's the biggest out of all of them!
Fuery is the only one of the hatchlings born a Guardian, which means he's destined to leave his clan forever in for his Search. Because he knows he will one day leave his entire life in the Sunbeam Ruins forever, Fuery was always an introspective and quiet dragon.
Despite this, he lives vicariously with his clan in the present, appreciating his life now. He spends a lot of time with his sister in the markets and with this younger brother around the Flight's realm.
Fuery likes to sunbathe with his father and read in his free time. He's also tinkered around with various wooden nicknacks he carves with his claws. His familiar is a Dryad he calls Melody. Melody usually sings very quietly to Fuery.
