Jewel

Fierce and beautiful, Jewel trained as a warrior in the Fire flight, specializing in spear-wielding and aerial combat, before leaving or being cast out from her clan in her adolescence after a dispute with her clanmates. For a time, she was a wandering mercenary, before she encountered Kevolac and his small ragtag band of clanmates.

Seeing him clad in armour, she challenged him to a duel, and was shocked when he actually succeeded in defeating her. His flying ability was very strong, especially for a Mirror, but perhaps she shouldn't have been surprised considering he was born of the Windsinger. Now she serves as second-in-command of defense of the Amethyst Tower.

She is quick on her feet in both senses. She is agile and intelligent with a no-nonsense attitude, but she is still more personable - and therefore a more capable leader - than Kevolac, commanding through respect rather than pure intimidation as he does. Her close friend Janus considers her a downer at times, but the truth is as the most practical-minded member of the small but growing clan, she usually finds herself overworked and underappreciated.
