Phantom

Phantom may not be an actual ghost, but it's a thin line she walks between the realms of the living and the dead. Separated from her pack, savaged by some horrible beast and left for dead, Phantom has lost most of what made her who she was.
Now a shadow of her former self, this wight stalks the clan, always lingering just outside the reach of campfire light. She is present almost every night, only ever snarling, never speaking; it's rare to see more of her than just the glassy reflection in all four of Phantom's eyes glittering in the darkness.
After the attack, Phantom never got the proper care her wounds really needed in order to heal properly. As such, she drags one of her hind legs and her left wing when she walks, stumbling through the snow and across the frigid plains of the Icefields. The little healing Phantom attempted to administer in the fleeting, adrenaline-filled moments after the attack were barely enough to keep her alive, and the hastily applied bandages are now just as much a part of her as her own scales. Sometimes they catch on withered fir branches or scrub and peel away, and horrendous screams of pain from the wounded dragoness send shivers down the spines of any creature nearby.
It's a mystery why Phantom has decided to haunt the clan. Perhaps she's just scavenging on uneaten and discarded scraps, or perhaps deep down, there's a spark of life left in her mind that draws Phantom to creatures she recognizes as being like her. If Phantom hunts simply for food or for that nagging sense of consciousness clinging in the back of her brain, the clan has yet to see.
When she first appeared in the clan, Bonbon seemed to take a liking to her for some reason, and tried her best to take up the role of mother to the young mirror, even though Phantom did not show herself to Bonbon any more than any other dragon in the clan. Nimbus was also one of the braver dragons who made multiple attempts at getting through to her, but to no avail.
