Papilio is a shrewd fellow. Shrewd and very fiddly. He fiddles with his mane, twiddles the feathers he's got tied 'round his tail, keeps his head down and his words short. That is until he's working at his little store. Then he's all talk and pomp and show, eager to sell trinkets and fancy gems from deep within the Tangled Wood.

Burdened by bags of assorted goods and clad in a mess of tatters, Papilio is smaller than most Imperials and tends to keep his head down. It is only when he's selling his wares that he perks both his ears and wears a full-fanged, toothy white smile.

The only other time he's like that is when he's with Solarflare.

She brings out the light in him.

Recently, Papilio has taken an assistant of sorts under his butterfly-esque wings. Nobody knows how such a strange partnership came about, but anyone who visits the Imperial's store can tell you that despite the Guardian's course attitude, Papilio holds an immense fondness for his "star employee".
